went to see Ashputtel last night (03/12) it was superb, the whole thing was magical. I have yet to go to a production by Forest Forge and not be amazed by the atmosphere and spectacle they can conjure up in a village hall!!

It was the first Forest Forge production I’ve been to – but certainly won’t be the last.
The whole cast did a superb job, and the pacey story kept the entire room entertained throughout – my 10 year old son particularly liked the bit when the sisters chopped various parts of their feet off!!!
Loved the music and and singing as well – is there anything these folk can’t do?

Having known and supported this company for some years now, we have never failed to enjoy any of the productions we have ssen. Last night the company brought ‘Ashputtel’ to Hazelbury Bryan and the production certainly did not fail in keeping all the children (and adults alike) encaptured throughout the performance. Great to have a pantomime keeping true to the fairy tale story and bringing theatre to the rural villages – keep it up!

My husband and I come to all your hall performance where possible, during the year. But I think that the January production of Ashputtel this year deserves a response. (I didn’t get a chance to fill in your form on the day)
There were three generations of us there and we all enjoyed on different and often similar levels. My grandsons 9 and 6, were riveted throughout, and couldn’t stop talking about it on our way
home ‘Fabulous’, ‘amazing’ ‘great’ etc. The cast were talented in every way and it felt so fresh. This time my daughter and I enjoyed the performance even more than watching the boys enjoy it! Much laughter and enough fear to satisfy all. We are still talking about it. Thank you very much (and for bring it so near to home!)

See you at Free Folk
