6 months, 90 rehearsals, 125 youth theatre members, 8 workshops, 8 sculpture building sessions, all culminate in Forest Forge’s exciting new summer event – Roots Youth Theatre Festival. Forest Forge performers aged 6 – 21 will perform 4 shows taking inspiration from the area’s cultural past and environmental future and is part funded by the National Park’s Sustainable Development Fund.

The four shows are Forest Friends and the Litterbugs by Simon Chadwick, Forest Mysteries (a new play retelling local stories), Adrift (an exciting new devised piece about climate change) and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
